I researched watches for quite awhile before I chose this Timex. I wanted a two tone that would go with all my jewelry. I also have certain features I like in a watch such as big, bold numbers, a second hand, durability & at a reasonable cost. Previous reviews indicated that the band was difficult to make smaller but I liked it overall so I ordered it. The first jeweler I took it to told me she did not have the right tool to shorten the band & anyway it would have taken her an hour to do this free service. Plus she claimed it may not look just right & could later break apart. The second jeweler said yes he could take out a couple of links & did so in a short amount of time for $5. He said if I needed another link taken out to just come back & he'd gladly do it. It's still a little big but I've been wearing it OK.

The band was a little thicker than I expected, but the edges are smooth and very comfortable to wear. The face is extremely easy to read, with its clear black numbers, minutes clearly marked off, white face, second hand, date, and indiglo light. This is the perfect watch for a nurse or someone who needs a clear to read watch even in the dark. And the watch looks good too. I don't mind wearing it to work or when I want to dress up a little.

The watch itself is really perfect. The bracelet it is attached to is a disaster. It runs large for a woman's wrist and cost too much to have links removed. It does fit me now but the expansion links catch the hairs on my wrist and it does hurt when they pull out. Once your wrist is devoid of hairs it's not so bad! I would not recommend this watch unless it comes with another bracelet.

My wife loves this watch because the face is clear and easy to read. Sadly, it does not seem to live up to Timex's quality standards (eg: It does NOT "Take a licking & keep i=on ticking").
Supposedly water resistant to 99 feet, I have purchased 2 of these in under 2 years because the crystal fogged up on the inside after a few months, and then the Indiglo light quit working. On the 1st of the 2 watches, the band also had a couple of the link covers pop off. I don't understand how moisture gets in, when the watch has never been worn in anything deeper than the shower.
I have sent an email to Timex regarding this, and will update with their feedback when / if they respond.

Great watch. I wear it everyday. It is comfortable and accurate. It is a little more silver color than I had hoped but ok. It does tend to travel off-center of my wrist but most do so no biggy there. Good value.
