Great for 3 years.Mar 10, 2010 Wonderful watch while it lasted. I have heard that my experience was shorter than most Miyota movements. I wore it every day and was incredibly pleased with the look and heft. With only slight abuse the crystal got one small scratch and a tiny chip. It always gained about 15seconds a day, but such is the life of automatics. Three years to the month it started running down overnight, and a month later won't stay running at all. Setting the time manually, it feels as though there are "rough spots" in the geartrain occasionally. Probably not worth the price for only three years, but assuming it should last longer, I would have to recommend it.

Outstanding Price for Outstanding Quality!Mar 02, 2010 I've long lusted after this watch because it closely resembles my Rolex Submariner, black on black. The pictures do it no justice, as this watch is an excellent copy of my Rolex -- except the luminous hour markers are small on this Invicta than my Submariner. This Invicta Pro Diver Collection Coin-Edge Automatic Watch (#8926c) has the weight, feel, and look of the genuine article, overall. It has nicely brushed links, with highly polished center links; the black dial, with black bezel, has a fine visual appeal; the bezel works smoothly. The sweep of the seconds hand is steady, but perhaps not as smooth as the real Mccoy; still, I'm very satisfied with it and am glad to have "given in" to my lusting for it. I wanted a look-alike to wear daily so I can minimze risk of losing or damaging my original. This watch fits the bill. I firmly believe this is an excellent buy for a very reasonable price. As usual, Amazon.com's shipping are outstanding: the watch came in its signature canary yellow box. Amazon's customer service is a model of what it should be. It's why I've been a faithful customer for the past several years.
Great value for the cost on close examinationFeb 28, 2010 I've had my Pro Diver 8926C for about 3 months now, wear it every day, and have had absolutely no real problems with it. Since I wear it every day, I don't have to wind it, and in the last 3 months, as far as I can tell, it hasn't gained or lost ANY time whatsoever - it is extremely accurate. Maybe I just got lucky, but if my watch is any indication, the 8926C series watch seems pretty reliable and high quality.
I have worn it swimming in the ocean with no problems at all, and although I'm not terribly careful with it, there are no scratches at all on the face, so it seems fairly scratch resistant, but the metal watch band does appear to pick up scratches easier than I would have expected, although they are not really noticeable. The automatic winding mechanism is fairly quiet - I had one watch that really made a distracting cranking sound when I moved around, so this quiet mechanism is a nice change. The second hand has a nice sweep, you can see it tick, but it isn't as jerky as some other watches I've seen.
My only real "complaint" is the glow in the dark hour markers and dial - it honestly doesn't last more than about 5 minutes in the dark - basically you notice it is glowing brightly, but in a few mere minutes, the face is dark and can't be read. I had the same problem with my Citizen watch as well, while on the other hand my Tag Heuer glows in the dark for over an hour. My other only complaint is based on my own personal preference - this watch is not as wide as I'd like, I prefer watches to be around 42-44mm, so this watch feels small to me.
All in all, the watch is very accurate, looks good, very durable in any conditions - water, heat, or activity, and considering the price, is a tremendous deal. High quality for an almost ridiculously low price.
I wanted a steak with the sizzle on a hamburger budget, but got a raw deal!Feb 24, 2010 I cannot say enough about how disappointed I am in this watch. When I received this watch, I opened the box and thought I saw a well crafted, stylish and pleasing piece of jewelry. Instead, all I got was a shiny bracelet attached to a watch-shaped object. Oh, it is a beautiful looking watch and I did not expect quartz precision in an inexpensive automatic Japanese movement, but I did expect it to continue running beyond the second day of ownership. This is all the more disappointing because I really liked this watch when I first got it and had to defend my purchase to my wife. Imagine my chagrin now that I have to tell her that I am returning it because it really is useless. Maybe this is a case-by-case thing and another one of these would work perfectly, but I refuse to take that chance. I am sending this watch back for a full refund and, knowing how good Amazon is about these things, I expect to get nothing short of a full refund and an apology for the inconvenience. This does not sour me on the Amazon experience, merely Invictaa as a company and on buying watches on the internet, in general.
Keep watching this review as I will update it for any additional comments.
Beautiful, but uselessFeb 21, 2010 Look, the situation is plain and simple. The watch is well put together and beautiful.
But for whatever reason it's not a good time keeper.
Mine gains 6 minutes per week and that makes it useless as a watch.
Even for an automatic, this is very poor performance. It's going back.
