 Doesn't work :/Jul 21, 2010
Just got the watch today. Beautiful watch, but mine came defective with the large second hand wandering and the chronograph feature not working. The little second hand is the one that should be always moving, the chronograph second hand is the big second hand. When following the instructions the little second hand would just blaze around when it should have reset. It was all rather silly really.
However, Amazon is sending me another one with one day shipping. Here's to hoping the second one works. Beautiful watch, just bad Quality Control, or it's just my luck. Probably a bit of both really. Also, there's no point in sending the watch to invicta at a charge if it's defective out of the box. That's just poor customer service on invicta's part.

I bought this item for my husband for Fathers Day and he loves it. The watch has a very nice weight to it and looks very expensive, and most of all it looks great on.

HAGGERTY'S REVIEW(LA)(2005) What he says is TRUE - If the SMALL Second's Hand (the one just above the 6 o'clock position) is not moving, on a REGULAR basis, there is a problem!!! The LARGE Second's Hand (the one in the CENTER, is ONLY supposed to move when the Chronograph function is ACTIVATED and is supposed to revert to the Twelve O'clock position when you reset the chronograph function. Even [...] has a video which shows how the watch is SUPPOSED to work and so does Rolex (the Daytona is what this watch is supposed to emulate). I fell in LOVE with this model, very classy yet appropriate for everyday use. If you're a NASCAR freak, like me, the CORRECT operation of the Chronograph is important. Well, "HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM"!!! I was VERY unlucky to not only buy TWO of these from Amazon (bought the first one, returned it, and then bought a REPLACEMENT), BOTH bad as described above but, THEN went ahead and bought two from [...], ALSO both bad as described above. Invicta has a whole bunch of these circulating and they don't seem to care. I sent Invicta TWO E-mails with ZERO response. I then filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (by the way, D- Rating), not because of the watch but, because of their lousy customer service (MOST of the complaints on the BBB website are regarding Customer Service). Their response to the BBB did not relate to my complaint of their lousy customer service at all. They EVADED by saying they would have no problem repairing the watch, that was it!! Please keep in mind, I have no complaints against Amazon WHATSOEVER!!! I am sure that Invicta put's out a good product however, if you get a defective one, don't even bother to try and get it repaired. RETURN IT AT ONCE, otherwise, you'll wait forever to get the watch back and/or get any response out of Invicta at all (I've read a whole bunch of reviews about that one). GOOD LUCK!!! Initial Impression - just purchased!!Jun 16, 2010
Over the weekend I took advantage of Amazon's free shipping and bought myself 2 different Invicta watches. Opened my yellow boxes to find both watches in great shape and with good protective wrapping. Directions to set time and date were quick to find and easy to understand. I've read several of the other reviews but I read nothing about these before i bought them. I bought them for their looks and to test Invicta watches at this pricepoint. I'll report back in 3 months or so my attitude at that time.

While this watch appeared to be a lovely watch. Within a few months of purchase, the stem locked in place and cannot be used to adjust the watch. Yes, there is a warranty. The watch, however, cost $60 on Amazon, and the warranty fee is $29 to return it to Invicta ( which happens to be located about 3 miles from my home, but they do not allow you to drop off defective items). It does not seem worthwhile to spend 50% of the cost of the watch on a repair within the first four months after purchase. Very disapointing!
