After narrowing down my watch choices to two, I decided to purchase the Fossil Stella over the Michael Kors watch that was on my wishlist for a while. Aside from Fossil that makes Kors' watch, I took into consideration price and size for the fact I have small wrists though I was looking for a big watch. I cannot tell you how delighted I am with choosing Fossil Stella! This watch is fabulous and has already received a ton of compliments in a short time. The watch is classy, stylish and true to the product image online. The watch face I feared would be big but it sits nicely on my wrist. This watch is 38mm and the other one I considered buying was 43 and in retrospect I probably would've returned it for this Stella as it would've been way too big. I had to remove several links but I was able to do that myself. I have been wearing it daily for 4 days so far and have not noticed any scratches. The dials are easy to read and the watch accurately keeps time. I love my Stella watch!

This is a very nice watch at a reasonable price. I love how the watch looks and feel when I put it on. I received the watch before the schedule due date.

I purchased this watch as a gift. It looked great... for one day. The gold finish on the band wore off the watch after only one day of wear. The watch I received may have been the product of a bad production run. However, the rate at which the finish wore off is totally unacceptable for a watch of it's brand and price.
UPDATE-
the seller - MrWatch would not accept a return, their language-
" Unfortunately, per our return policy we are unable to accept watches back to our facility for a refund or replacement after they have been worn, used, sized, or adjusted in any way. If a defect is not reported within 10 calendar days (prior to use) of the customer's receipt, the manufacturer will not provide us with a replacement or a refund for your item."
That's fine I suppose, but here is Fossil's warranty:
THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
Battery, case, crystal, strap, or bracelet.
Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
Water damage unless marked water-resistant.
Repairs if the watch was not originally purchased from an authorized Fossil retailer.
So, no one involved here stands behind the product.
and I am stuck with a beat-up looking new watch.

Had this watch about a year now and it goes with everything. I wear it everday and it looks brand new. Its worth the price.
