it stopped workingAug 08, 2010 Bought this 2 years ago (July 2008) for someone with visual problems. Liked the big, white face. Easy to read time. Not too heavy, either. Last month,it stopped working so we assumed it was time to replace the battery. Replaced it but even with the new battery, it wouldn't work anymore. I guess it just "died". Too bad warranty is only for a year.
Nice watchJul 25, 2010 I bought this watch for myself after owning a smaller "wrist" watch from Casio for many years. I've had no complaints about Casio's build quality. I've owned several Casio watches over the years. The only thing that ever goes wrong is the band dries out and cracks and needs to be replaced about once a year. Then in about 4-5 years the battery dies and you need to decide weather to replace the battery or the watch.
There are two things I don't like about this watch. The first is it has no light. I would have figured this one would, but it doesn't. The hands and the face glow in the dark, which is OK, but they're not bright enough to really tell what time it is in the dark.
My only other complaint is that this watch is heavy. If you are used to wearing the smaller digital type Casio watch, this one will feel like a ton of bricks on your wrist. If you're used to wearing a larger metal watch then this should be no problem for you.
Bottom Line: It looks nice, it has a lot of nice features, it was a decent price. It's a little heavy on my wrist and there is no light.
nice watchJun 15, 2010 this watch is a little big, but I like that and it seems very sturdy and accurate, easy to use
Plain White Face WatchFeb 18, 2010 Be careful when selecting this watch because there are two very similar looking Casio watches in this diver's watch style. This particular watch has a plain (bright) white face and a digital information window at the bottom. The other watch has (in my opinion) a more attractive pearlized light-silver face but with 3 analog dials. If you're over 45 and use "readers", you may need them to read either watch face. Aside from your preference for the appearance of the watch face, both watches are otherwise excellent.
Casio watchFeb 12, 2010 Looks great, works great, I like the white dial better than the black one I had previously; however the date window is a smidge smaller than the last watch I bought.
