I wore this watch for only 3 days and already there are scratches and blemishes. I knew it was too good to be true. Avoid!

Item lacks a mechanical second hand, but has a dual time zone capability and a long acting battery.
Inexpensive, but appears more expensive with metal expansion wrist band.

This watch should be sold for $1 for the kind of design and glass they put on the watch. Who would put a cheap plastic that invites scratches.. yes, it likes scratches.. because it has this convex shape or a bulge protruding outside because of which no one can avoid getting scratches on the glass/plastic. Very badly designed watch. Did not expect this from Casio. And when I returned the watch, I got only half the amount I paid. Extremely unhappy with Amazon also that puts up these kind of watches in-spite of so many negative reviews.
I actually got a very nice watch for $10 from Walmart about 6 years ago that I used extensively for 3 years and now carry it as a back-up that performed so good. The glass is pretty scratch resistant with heavy metal rim and cotton webbing belt. The glass is actual glass and not some cheap plastic. I would give that $10 watch 5 stars since it exceeded my expectations for the price I paid.

Note that this watch, unlike many popular Casio watches, is not "atomic" -- that is, it does not rely on a precise time signal such as those broadcast from WWV or WWVH. It is simply an analog/digital wrist watch with (they say) a 10-year battery and quartz accuracy. The one I received gains about a second a day, which is quite acceptable.
Positive quality: It has a metal band that is highly adjustable for various wrist sizes (if you have good vision and some patience, you can easily adjust it yourself, although if you have a very small wrist you may need to have a jeweler remove a link). Unlike the synthetic bands you find on many Casio watches, this one should last at least ten years. The watch is also easy to read, and the latching mechanism on the watchband is a new sort of closure that's not merely the old-fashioned pressure fit; it should also last a long time.
Negative quality: The watch I received had its analog and digital displays out of synchronization. After you first set the correct time zone, you may then need to synchronize the analog time with the digital time. The directions provided are not as clear as they should be, and the process may require more than one or two attempts. (This is aggravating, because each such attempt may require a 15 minute wait while the analog hands "catch up" with the digital display.) But I finally got it done. Be sure to read the directions carefully and follow them literally throughout the process should you encounter this problem.
It's a handsome watch and extremely inexpensive for what you get. I am very glad I purchased it.

For the price and features, this watch is a good buy. I nearly sent it back because the specifications given on the Amazon listing stated that it had a stainless steel case. In fact, it has a stainless steel back and a "plastic case" that the watch band pins go into. In my past experience with this construction the pins eventually break off the plastic ears of the case. My other negative comment is that it is very difficult to lengthen or shorten the watch band and the only instructions for doing so are on the internet (and still difficult to understand and accomplish). Finally, you need a magnifying glass to read the fine print on the instruction sheet and an assistant to make the settings for time,etc. I eventually decided to keep it to avoid the ensuing hassle involved. If and when it breaks, I will throw it away even if 6 of the 10 years of the battery remain.
